As a city boy who lives in a house the size of a mailbox with a garage that can’t even fit our one and only car, seeing this makes me le sad.

Needs less house and more garage (and more land)
![]() 07/30/2016 at 15:25 |

What does the backyard look like?
![]() 07/30/2016 at 15:33 |

Not sure that would be enough garages for me.

You can have your own mini-car show!

No, it seems four is not the magic number, having space for four cars makes you want at least more than 5 cars.
Or so I have been told by people having space for four cars.

Two years ago when my wife & I were looking for homes we looked at a rustic log cabin style house with double-size garage doors on both sides of the house. It had a drive-thru basement that could have easily parked six cars, maybe seven. Ultimate gearhead house. Too bad the living space was such a mess.

Six. Six car detached garage. That’s where the magic is.

Eight car garage or bust

I see three garage spaces and one large detailing bay. Nice.

Where is this?

By the way, this came up on the market a year or so ago. Don’t be deceived by that modest front yard view. Checkout the overhead to see what’s in the backyard.
Unfortunately I couldn’t convince wifey to go out and get a $400k per year job so we could afford it.

Unincorporated Marysville.

In terms of architectural style, this looks much more palatable than your typical exurban new build.

With the size of AW11s, I’d say it’s
at least
a six car.

Need to rethink life goals
![]() 07/30/2016 at 20:06 |

But not with that empty garage.

Not enough land. On only one acre you can still see it from the road. I’d need 40 at least. Plus you don’t need more than one door on the garage. Lets out too much heat. And there's too much house attached to the shop.

This is what I’m talking about! Tall enough for a lift on the left. I would water proof the walls on that bay, and install a floor drain. Then you could wash cars indoors in the winter!
